Not only that, he’s been training with Zuckerberg, and when speaking to TMZ, only had good things to say about him.
“I was pretty shocked,” Musumeci said. “He’s a grinder. He has that grind in him. The second I saw that I said, ‘Okay, he can be very good at MMA or jiu-jitsu’ because first of all, he has the highest IQ, but he’s also tough. And he’s a strong guy. He’s like, my size, you know, and he’s really strong for my size.”
‘Darth Rigatoni’ was also impressed with how quickly Zuckerberg would grasp concepts and be able to put them into action – something which bodes well for his future development.
“You show him a movement one time, and he instantly knows it, hes that type of guy. He has so much potential,” he said.”
And while a potential battle against Musk may never materialise, Zuckerberg has indicated he would like to step into a cage and take on a pro. His training lengths have even gone as far as seeing him install a cage in his back garden. Musumeci is excited by the prospect of what might come next.
“Anything he does is 100% – so if he’s into MMA he’s going to put a cage in his backyard. It is so interesting to see him improving and his progress – I am fascinated by it, it’s like this crazy science experiment.”
Musumeci next fights Japanese legend Shinya Aoki next at ONE Fight Night 15, starting at 3am Mecca time.
